PILAGIARISM- AN UNDERSTANDING

Abstract

Plagiarism is the most common type of  misconduct in scientific writing and is defined as taking someone else’s work or ideas and passing them as their own thus retarding  progress. It carries serious penalties if proved.  Plagiarism-free scientific writing is a shared responsibility of medical institutes initiating  the scientific writings and Journal editors who publish it.
